Being a teacher of middle and high school students with multiple disabilities it is important for me to find jobs students can perform in the school and community. Taking pictures of school events for the yearbook or just for a teacher who would like pictures for her class would be an excellent job to add. It is an age appropriate hobby and something that could lead them into a profession when they graduate.

Teaching 7th grade language arts, My students enjoy creating books on various subject related to class.

Now that I have some digital camera knowledge. I plan to introduce digital photos into our class books.

Also, I would like my classes to create a school brochure using digital photography. However, first I will teach the same camera ettique as discussed in the article.

Since in 7th grade students come from 7 different elementary schools, I think the brochure would be a great way to welcome new students.

This was a very interesting article but one that I had a harder time thinking of ways to use in the physical education and gym setting. I immediately thought of the special needs teacher and our 5th grade teachers, especially when they talked about students earning Press Passes and being in good academic standing. What a great incentive for motivating students to get their work done.
The other principles of framing and the rule of thirds etc., helped expand my limited knowledge of good digital picture taking.
